Port Harcourt DJkaydee Baba Sends Strong Message to Upcoming Artists: “Go Crazy About Your Craft”
Popular Port Harcourt disc jockey, Djkaydee Baba, has dropped a thought-provoking message for upcoming artists, urging them to take their craft more seriously if they truly want to succeed in the industry.
According to him, many artists release new music once every two or three months and still expect DJs and fans to take them seriously. He noted that some even allow pride to stop them from reaching out for support or airplay, simply because they drive a flashy car or feel too big to promote themselves.
“Music no be vibes and cruise. It’s consistency, hustle, and carrying your craft everywhere. Some of you want to post like Wizkid, but how crazy were these artists when they started their hustle? They carried everything on their heads, hustled for shows, and worked tirelessly to get noticed,” Djkaydee said.
He stressed that upcoming artists should draw inspiration from the early days of stars like Wizkid and others, who went the extra mile to push their music before fame finally found them.
Djkaydee concluded by encouraging artists to “go crazy about your craft” and never dull, because the world won’t wait for them.
