Purpose, People & Port Harcourt Vibes: My Chill Hangout with the NIDSUG DOS Team at Lantern Café
Award of Honour presented to Honey Ojukwu (Radio Lioness, Cool FM Port Harcourt) by NIDSUG Uniport Chapter.
It was one of those Port Harcourt afternoons where energy meets ease — the perfect time to catch up and connect. I had the pleasure of linking up with Mbanaso Ebubechi Kingsley (Director of Socials - DOS), Eniola Joshua (Special Adviser), and Cornelius Princess-Olivia (Personal Assistant) — the dynamic NIDSUG Director of Socials team, Uniport Chapter.
We met at Lantern Café, a cozy spot known for its calm ambience and strong coffee. Between laughter, light banter, and deep conversations, we delved into what it really takes to serve in student leadership — the balance between purpose and personality, the pressures, and the passion behind it all. From leadership to lifestyle, from staying grounded to making bold moves, this team truly had gems to drop 💎
But the best part? Just when I thought it was all vibes and espresso shots, they turned the tables and surprised me with an Award of Honour! 🏆💛
It was more than a gesture — it was a reminder that purpose always connects with people. I’m deeply grateful to the NIDSUG family for the recognition, the love, and for constantly proving that leadership in UNIport is more than titles — it’s about teamwork, impact, and community.
Big love to everyone who keeps the fire burning for youth representation and creative influence in our campus spaces. The future is bright — and we’re just getting started. 🌟🎙
