Reality TV star and influencer, Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has weighed in on Big Brother Naija’s decision to disqualify Faith, one of the Season 10 finalists.
In a recent interview on TVC, Tacha stated that the disqualification was justified, explaining that Faith’s conduct went against the show’s rules and the spirit of mutual respect.
“People are saying Faith shouldn’t have left, but I think he should have. When I saw the clip of what happened, the dragging of the HOH’s bucket, it just didn’t make sense. As much as we demand respect, we should also give it – especially to the office of the Head of House,” she said.
However, many fans quickly pointed out that Sultana was not the Head of House (HOH) at the time, suggesting that Tacha may have misunderstood the incident.
Interestingly, Tacha is also known to be a fan of Sultana, which some believe may have influenced her opinion.
According to viewers who rewatched the clip, Sultana reportedly insulted Faith harshly before the bucket incident, yet Faith did not retaliate physically.
Tacha, who herself was disqualified from the Pepper Dem edition in 2019 following a clash with Mercy Eke, emphasized that any form of physical confrontation violates Big Brother rules.
"There’s a rule book in the house. You can’t, in any way, be physical with another housemate. Once that line is crossed, Big Brother has every right to decide your fate,” she added.
Despite Tacha’s stance, fans on social media continue to argue that her version of events doesn’t align with what actually happened, urging her to rewatch the full clip before drawing conclusions.
