There was panic in Rumurolu, Port Harcourt, on Tuesday after a moving train rammed into several vehicles that were trapped on the railway line due to heavy traffic.

According to eyewitnesses, the unfortunate incident occurred when motorists caught in a traffic jam were unable to clear the railway track before the train arrived.

Videos and photos from the scene show damaged vehicles and terrified onlookers scrambling for safety as the train screeched to a halt.

Fortunately, no fatalities or serious injuries were recorded, but the crash caused widespread panic and a major traffic gridlock in the area.

Authorities have since arrived at the scene to manage traffic flow and assess the damage.
